Concrete Wire Sawing

Concrete Wire Sawing We enjoy performing wire saw services most! Wire sawing is a very high level skill that our crews have years of experience in. In fact, our wire saw skills are one of the biggest things that separate us from our competitors. Our concrete wire saws give us the most precise cuts on ridges, beams and piers when it comes to making openings in thick walls or removing large concrete structures. Concrete wire sawing can also be referred to as diamond wire cutting. Our operators are able to cut through steel and heavily reinforced concrete.

Concrete wire sawing is commonly used for underwater cutting, cuts in restricted or remote areas, cuts that require minimal vibration, anchor door openings and cutting through depths which are beyond the reach of conventional tools.

The concrete wire saws are capable of cutting through stone, cinder blocks, bricks, asphalt, concrete and structural concrete.

how does a wire saw work?

In this method, a wire similar to the rosary is used, and the beads of the rosary are made of synthetic diamonds, which will be responsible for grinding the concrete. A closed loop is created by making two holes on the wall, ceiling or desired surface and passing the wire through these two holes and closing it around the folly of the device.

The machine starts working and rotates the wire. By the movement of the wire inside the holes and the contact between it and the concrete surface, the grinding action takes place, and by moving the device away from the concrete slab, it advances and cuts.
